Brooklyn-based artist Catori crafts immersive soundscapes, blending electronic and acoustic elements to create dynamic performances. Her style flows seamlessly from organic deep house to ambient, meditative soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from a rich blend of childhood influences—spanning Latin, Rock, Reggae, and beyond—along with classical training in voice and violin, Catori weaves together a diverse cultural tapestry. Her international travels further inform her musical approach, allowing her to create atmospheres perfectly tailored to her audiences during DJ sets and live performances.

Currently focused on studio work, Catori is set to release her debut EP soon.

Catori has graced the lineups of NYC bred collectives including Zero and Bespoke Musik as well as festivals worldwide including SXM, Minus Zero, and Elements Music and Arts Festival. A seasoned presence at Burning Man, she has also performed at camps including Bubbles and Bass, Never Sleep Again, Alborz, and Trifucta. She's opened alongside talents including Acid Pauli, Mira, Bonobo, Goldcap, Nico Stojan, Kora, and Brian Cid to name a few.

Harmonic overtone emitting instruments…

…when used intentionally, have the ability to drop the brain into a theta wave state. In this state we're able to access some of the deepest parts of our psyche. With attention and intention, participants have the ability to utilize this experience as a tool to quiet the mind, deal with insomnia, work with depression, expand consciousness, increase attention and awareness, and also simply to explore one's self. This work involves my collection of hand-hammered antique and contemporary singing bowls in addition to other harmonic overtone emitting instruments.
